Similar and at some aspects overlap with Business Coaching. Executive coaching focuses on the client (individual or group) leadership and management goals within an organization. It deals with the performance of the key contributors of the organization (those who have the power to make a decision), and also to aspects that sometimes may be overlooked by the business or industry. Even though it is mostly focusing on organizational purposes, it may also benefited personal life of the client.

Business

This coaching will help clients bring their business to where it want to be. A Business coach will help client recognize and resolve problems, provide guidance in developing a business plan as well as help clients to be able to solve future problems that may arise. Business coach ‘acts’ as your business partner in growing your business.

Career

It is not always about changing jobs, but how you progress in your career and the role that you are in right now. Career coaching will help clients established a set of clear goals they wanted to have in career, and ways to achieve it. It also help clients identify the correct roles for the clients so that fulfillment is achieved. Career coach will help you take charge in how clients want their career to be.

Life

This coaching encourage clients’ self-discovery. It is not advice giving, consulting or counseling session, but rather helps clients solve a specific issues, either personal or professional. By analyzing the situation from a different perspective, identifying the obstacles and then plan the action steps for clients to create the desirable results. Whatever the issues, life coach will help clients create the life the way they want it to be.

Ontological Coaching

Ontological Coaching is to facilitate the transformation of the clients by addressing the alteration of perceptions and attitudes which allows new learning to emerge.

Learning and change does not just happen conceptually through language, that an integral part of how people function, learn, and change by emphasizing the importance and integration of physical, emotional, and linguistic patterns in shaping how people perceive the world and their behavior. These three areas, language, emotions, and body make up who we are. Rather than simply supporting clients in setting goals and achieving them, ontological coaches will help clients adjust the filter on how clients see things, reflect and address on what really influencing their behavior, generate new possibilities that were previously invisible to them, and expand on what the clients may become.

The challenge faced by personal development program is mostly about how to ensure the sustainability of the improvement. A new changed behaviour has the possibility to revert to previous behaviour, especially under stress circumstances. Through this method, clients are formed to establish new behavior and personality, therefore they would not revert since they are a whole new individual. 

Ontological coaching is an approach that explicitly recognizes not only the importance of each area but also the importance of the integration of each of these areas. All three need to change if someone is to engage in sustainable or deep change.

Group Coaching

Focusing on team performances and cohesiveness, by seeing individuals both as a singular entity and a team player. Also the dynamic between individuals and the group itself.

In Group Coaching, the focus is no longer in individual performances, but more into the collective performance as a group. It assess on how the group been collaboratively working together and to declare a common vision that every individual aligned to.

Then how each individual needed to be based on the group’s current condition and combination. To have clarity on the current condition and conversation about each other, giving open and direct feedbacks with the purpose of growing each other and better collaboration in the future.

What is required from each and what can each contribute to one and another. The transformation is more into a collaborative cultural shift and group values such as openness, personal connections, ownership to each other’s individual performances.
